Omg guys, I am so EXCITED!!

So, today, I hit the jackpot of sites on the internet while surfing. I discovered a really cool site for employment oppurtunities, and one that directs you to any Volunteering site for all the provinces of Canada. I found Ottawa's, Volunteer Ottawa [link] and then clicked the "Environment" sub-category and BAM! There are so many friggen oppurtunities! I wanted environmental ones cuz that's what I'm studying in school and I friggen need EXP. ANYWAYS GUESS what I signed up for?!!? The CISCO Ottawa Blue's Fest Green Team!! It pretty much means that I'll be running around with a bunch of other people collecting garbage and obnoxiously promoting the magic of recycling. SOUNDS LIKE AN AWESOME TIME. . And plus, I get the added bonus of seeing free concerts!! Oh man, srsly, I am really pumped. I get a shirt, too! I guess it'll be like my uniform. So yeah I'll be volunteering four times from July 12-20th. That week will be awesome , what with me re-taking my G test (and friggen passing this time) and then the new HARRY POTTER coming out!!! EEEP.

I'm definitely going camping sometime in July and August too. I want to go twice this year instead of the usual once. My Dad and I'll probly go to Murphy's Point like usual and then maybe Bon Echo.. that one'll be first I think. There's so much planning and work involved with a camping trip but really, it's super worth it.

OH MAN SUMMER. I finally am starting to feel useful! Volunteering will be awesome. You guys should check up on some of the opps! I know there's still tons of spots available for the Blue's Fest, but only if you're 18 and older, sorry kidz!

Ooooh so i just finished re-watching Gundam Seed. So good holy crap. Well, cept for the ending, which was weird and seemed hastily done.. so yeah I'll be making a huge fanart soon for that. I'm going to challenge myself and attempt to actually draw a GUNDAM, probably Kira's Freedom. I guess I'll watch Gundam Seed Destiny now too, just for the hell of it. I'm too obsessed with sensitive little Kira to NOT watch anything with him lol.

Man, I'm so annoyed with Carleton lately. I was looking through the 09/10 class schedule and TWO things were wrong with it. ONE, the field course that I was super excited to take either no longer exists, or is just not offered for this year, or maybe is being re-vamped and they just don't have it up right now. I sincerely hope it's the latter, cuz I really want to have experience working OUTSIDE rather than just sitting on my butt in a lecture hall... The other thing wrong with the class list is that two of my required courses overlap! Friggen ISCI 2000 and PHIL 2380 are only offered in the Fall on Thursdays at the EXACT SAME TIME . WTF Carleton. Well, I know my friend had to take the philosophy one in third year even though it's a second year ranked one. I'll just have to do that T_T. Duuur. Oh well now I have room for a psychology course and a Baroque Art history course. Should be fun. And oh, with Psych, I was offered to be the PASS facil for the Intro courses! If any of you go to Carleton you'll know what I'm talking about. I applied, since my potential schedule allows me room to do it. I hope I get it, I can't wait to do experiments - I MEAN... TEACH the students who show up... ^.^;
